Tour Coordinator

About the role

The Tour Coordinator will be based on‑site in Matura and work full‑time to organise and lead guided nature tours. You will ensure a high‑quality visitor experience, manage all logistical aspects of tours and support the development of new tour products.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all tour inquiries, communications, quotations and follow‑up.
• Develop itineraries, coordinate schedules, accommodation, transport and special visitor needs.
• Prepare quotes, invoices and ensure timely payment collection in collaboration with the Financial Officer.
• Assist the Marketing Officer with catalogues and promotional materials.
• Identify service improvements, develop new tour offerings and maintain an inventory of community attractions.
• Visit potential sites, evaluate their suitability and explore training opportunities for guides.
• Lead guide recruitment in line with company policy.
• Contribute to the strategic plan, work‑plan implementation and annual budgeting.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary education in Tourism Management or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of project or tour management experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication, adaptable to diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong organisational, administrative and initiative‑taking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and remain calm under pressure.
• Commitment to the organisation’s mission, vision and values.
