Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Paints & Coatings Manufacturer

About the role

The company, a leading paints and coatings manufacturer and supplier in Trinidad and Tobago, is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and act as a trusted business partner. The CFO will oversee all financial functions, ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations, and drive performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial planning, annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to the Board.
• Manage cash flow, treasury activities and working‑capital optimisation.
• Strengthen governance, internal controls, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Support manufacturing profitability through cost‑management and capital‑expenditure evaluation.
• Develop and mentor the finance team, setting KPIs and performance standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance leadership within manufacturing or supply‑chain environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business transformation and deliver growth in challenging markets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
