Base Operations Infrastructure Support Lead

About the role

The Base Operations Infrastructure Support (CE Operations) Lead will oversee all base operations and civil engineering support at Ascension Auxiliary Airfield. This role ensures the timely, quality execution of facilities maintenance, utilities, and environmental compliance while providing emergency response capability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage execution of tasks across facilities engineering, power generation, HVAC, water and wastewater, and airfield infrastructure as defined in Appendices W–AG of the PWS.
• Supervise, schedule, and direct daily activities of civil engineering support personnel to maintain mission readiness and contract performance standards.
• Implement and maintain a Quality Control Plan to verify work meets or exceeds contractual standards.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and security regulations for all base infrastructure systems.
• Serve as primary point of contact for CE Operations, coordinating with government representatives, contractors, and stakeholders, and provide technical guidance for design reviews and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• U.S. citizenship with at least six years of relevant experience, including four years in a supervisory role overseeing multidisciplinary technical staff.
