HR Clerical Assistant – Temporary, with potential to become HR Officer

About the role

This temporary position supports the HR department in Arima and offers a clear pathway to a permanent HR Officer role based on performance. It is ideal for candidates at the early stage of their HR career who are eager to gain broad exposure across core HR functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities and candidate screening.
• Support employee onboarding and maintain personnel files.
• Administer attendance, leave records and HR correspondence.
• Prepare HR documentation, reports and data extracts.
• Provide general administrative support for HR and industrial relations matters.

Required profile

• Resides in or near Arima and can commute daily.
• Early‑career HR professional with a qualification in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Willingness to obtain a TTPS Certificate of Character and provide original academic certificates.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

What we offer

• Temporary hourly rate of $25.00.
• Potential progression to a permanent HR Officer role with a starting salary of $6,500 per month.
