Investment Specialist

About the role

RBC is seeking an Investment Specialist to drive new client acquisition and deliver tailored investment advice to high‑net‑worth and corporate clients in Trinidad and Tobago. The role blends relationship building, business development and deep product knowledge to grow the bank’s investment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional client experience by understanding and anticipating client needs across all interaction channels.
• Attract and onboard new High Net Worth and corporate investment clients, leveraging RBC’s full suite of products.
• Connect clients with the appropriate sales professionals and internal experts to meet their overall financial objectives.
• Host investment and retirement advice events to expand the investment portfolio.
• Provide timely advice on mutual funds, individual managed accounts, customized portfolios, options, margin lending, equity and fixed‑income trading while adhering to compliance and securities regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Banking or a related discipline (Master’s or PFP designation preferred).
• 5‑10 years of sales experience with a proven track record in mutual fund advice and sales.
• Registration as a brokering representative meeting TTSEC requirements.
• Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities to generate client loyalty and referrals.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
