Financial Advisor

About the role

Sagicor Financial Company Ltd. is seeking a full‑time Financial Advisor to work in a hybrid setting based in San Fernando. The role involves meeting clients, understanding their financial objectives, and creating personalized financial plans that cover investments, retirement, insurance and other products.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings to assess financial goals and current situation.
• Develop and present tailored financial plans, including investment, retirement and insurance recommendations.
• Monitor client portfolios, adjust strategies as circumstances evolve, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal teams and senior management.
• Participate in client outreach, business development and cross‑selling activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 CXC subjects, including Mathematics and English.
• At least 2 years of customer‑service experience.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree is an asset.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated integrity and a client‑centric mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Own a vehicle or have unlimited access to one.
