National Secretary‑Treasurer

About the role

The Secretary‑Treasurer is a dual‑function officer of the National Board of the Open Bible Standard Churches of Trinidad & Tobago. This appointed role combines organisational record‑keeping with financial stewardship to uphold the integrity, transparency and accountability of the organisation’s administrative and financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Organisational record‑keeping for the National Board.
• Financial stewardship, ensuring integrity, transparency and accountability of administrative and financial operations in line with the OBSC of T&T Bylaws.

Required profile

• Active, committed member in good standing of OBSC of T&T, meeting spiritual qualifications per 1 Timothy 3:8‑10.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or a professional accounting designation (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) with at least 10 years’ financial management experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
• Strong character, integrity, high ethical standards, sound judgment and alignment with the organisation’s mission.

Required skills

• Preparation of financial records and analysis of financial statements.
• Knowledge of Trinidad & Tobago nonprofit regulations and international financial standards.
• Proficiency with accounting software and office management software.
