Graphic Designer

About the role

EY is hiring a Graphic Designer in Port of Spain. Graphic Designers are creative professionals who liaise with internal clients to understand their vision, work with a cross-disciplinary creative team to develop design solutions, and convey the client's story while incorporating the brand. Key responsibilities

• Engage with internal clients to present, influence and negotiate design deliverables aligned with business needs
• Turn the client's vision and business need into an innovative product or deliverable
• Create and co-develop storyboards and layouts aligned to the creative brief
• Conceptualize and execute design solutions while offering positive client and team experiences
• Design clear and visually compelling campaigns and presentations
• Manage projects, prioritising multiple projects and milestones within time and budget
• Seek mentorship and feedback from senior designers and art directors, and take part in creative ideation sessions and design sprints
• Collaborate with art directors, senior designers, consultants, writers, animators and videographers
• Act as a brand ambassador for visual identity strategy and guidelines
• May be required to work off-site or travel as part of a project team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design or a related field
• Experience working in a virtual environment is preferred
• Portfolio of relevant work linked to the CV

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat)
• PowerPoint and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Knowledge of event management platforms such as Cvent, Eventbrite, Bizzabo or Splash is an asset
• Some knowledge of web development platforms and prototyping software
