Market Development Executive

About the role

Bryden pi Limited is recruiting a Market Development Executive for its Food and Grocery Division. The role manages and establishes sales territories, sets and achieves sales targets, analyses sales statistics and helps grow the business. It is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Administer all sales activities for export products and ensure export sales and gross margin targets are met
• Help prepare territory sales, advertising and travel budgets
• Identify sales growth opportunities in new and existing markets
• Prepare product registration dossiers according to the requirements of each market's authorities
• Design and implement marketing and sales programmes for the assigned territory with distributors
• Develop pricing models per market, review prices regularly and audit profitability
• Maintain knowledge of competitors' activities and keep distributors informed through regular visits
• Recommend distributors, prepare distributor contracts in line with state regulations and implement new product launches
• Train distributors on the product range and take part in exhibitions and seminars to win new business
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on importation and sale requirements, manage distributor stock reports and prepare rolling sales forecasts by SKU
• Write market visit reports on time and maintain good relationships with customers and distributors

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, or a relevant combination of training and experience
• At least 4 years of sales and marketing experience, including at least 2 years in export sales
• Fluency in Spanish is an asset
• Valid Police Certificate of Good Character
