Sales Representative (Pharmaceutical)

About the role

Bryden pi Limited is recruiting a Sales Representative for its Pharmaceutical Division. The incumbent drives continuous growth of the division's revenue and profitability, works with customers and suppliers to build win-win relationships, and is accountable for the assigned route.

Key responsibilities

• Sell Bryden pi pharmaceutical products and meet monthly sales and gross profit quotas on the assigned route.
• Keep routes properly serviced so that key supplier products are visible and available where needed.
• Execute agreed sales and marketing plans and service all customers on the route weekly or biweekly.
• Maintain proper merchandising and rotate stock weekly (FIFO) to keep products fresh.
• Return damaged goods to the company and compensate customers according to the Returns Policy.
• Collect outstanding credits on time and pay them to the cashier weekly; deposit daily cash with the cashier each day and be accountable for shortages or overages.
• Obtain signed charge bills and receipts from customers, and collect feedback on product performance and competitor information.
• Expand sales with new and existing customers and aim for 75% distribution of new products within two weeks of launch.
• Support pharmacovigilance activities such as customer complaints and product recalls, and answer questions on products, prices, availability and credit terms.
• Maintain customer records using automated systems.

Required profile

• 5 CXC / Ordinary Level passes, including Math and English.
• At least three years' experience in a similar or related position, or a relevant combination of training and experience.
• Valid Police Certificate of Good Character.
• A vehicle in good working condition.
