Project Engineer

About the role

Massy Wood is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead the delivery of integrated Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management services for oil and gas contracts. The role combines technical oversight with commercial responsibility, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical, commercial and execution changes impacting cost and schedule.
• Facilitate and document project meetings, actions and minutes in line with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, CSU, ORA and third‑party services.
• Develop baseline schedules, monitor progress and produce regular performance reports.
• Prepare cost estimates, forecasts and expenditure tracking for all work‑breakdown‑structure (WBS) scopes.
• Ensure compliance with global execution standards, business policies and contract obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a safety‑first, mistake‑free culture.
• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, resolving cross‑discipline technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum three years of engineering, construction or supervision experience in the oil & gas sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven capability to supervise and guide team members.
