Sales Support Assistant

About the role

Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited is seeking a detail‑oriented Sales Support Assistant to provide administrative backing to the sales force, unit managers and the branch manager. You will ensure smooth processing of new applications, manage documentation, and support agents in delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Check new applications for completeness, verify supporting documents, and update the Ingenium system.
• Receive, record, and forward first‑premium receipts to the RSC while monitoring daily cash limits.
• Enter application data into the Phoenix system and maintain related spreadsheets.
• Manage pending new‑business cases, prepare reports, and follow up with agents on missing information.
• Monitor lapse control listings, advise agents of impending lapses, and handle document scanning and classification.
• Prepare weekly production reports for agents and compile branch reports for head office.
• Handle incoming mail, distribute policy contracts, and draft correspondence as needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Customer‑service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly with agents and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a busy sales environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
• Experience with data‑entry systems such as Phoenix.
• Familiarity with document scanning, classification, and electronic filing.
