Sales Support Assistant

About the role

Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited is seeking a detail‑oriented Sales Support Assistant to provide administrative assistance to the sales force, unit managers, and branch manager. The role focuses on ensuring accurate processing of new applications, managing pending cases, and delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Verify completeness of new applications, ensure supporting documents are attached, and update the Ingenium system with corrections.
• Record first premiums, manage daily receipts, and ensure funds do not exceed ceiling limits.
• Enter application data into the Phoenix system and maintain related spreadsheets.
• Monitor pending new business cases, prepare reports for agents, and track lapse control listings.
• Handle document scanning, classification, and distribution to Records Management, Claims, Customer Service, and Client Acquisition departments.
• Prepare weekly production reports, update agent performance metrics, and circulate branch reports to head office.
• Manage incoming mail, distribute policy contracts, and draft correspondence as needed.
