Sales Support Assistant

About the role

Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited is seeking a detail‑oriented Sales Support Assistant to provide administrative assistance to the sales force, unit managers and branch manager. The role ensures smooth processing of new applications, accurate documentation, and timely reporting to support the company’s sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Verify completeness of new insurance applications, ensure supporting documents and ID copies are legible, and return incomplete files for correction.
• Enter application data into the Phoenix system, update Ingenium, and maintain related spreadsheets.
• Manage pending and lapse cases, prepare reports for agents and managers, and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Scan, classify, and distribute documents (new applications, increments, acknowledgements, reinstatements, claims) to relevant departments.
• Record daily premium receipts, submit them to RSC, and monitor fund limits.
• Prepare weekly production reports, update agent performance metrics, and circulate branch reports to head office.
• Handle incoming mail, draft correspondence, and provide forms and information as requested.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with agents, managers, and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Ingenium system.
• Experience using Phoenix application platform.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
