Senior Investment Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Investment Advisor to acquire and manage corporate clients and high‑net‑worth individuals (HNWI) with investable balances of at least TT$500K. The role involves delivering expert financial guidance, building lasting relationships, and creating tailored investment strategies using the GAMISL suite of mutual funds while identifying upsell opportunities to Private Wealth and Merchant Banking.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with HNWIs, corporate executives, and business owners.
• Monitor and report redemptions, client satisfaction, and investment performance.
• Establish referral networks and develop centers of influence (COIs).
• Respond to client enquiries, conduct portfolio reviews, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Identify and refer upsell opportunities to Private Wealth, Merchant Banking, and other relevant units.
• Stay updated on GAM’s product offerings, policies, procedures, and market trends.
• Provide any additional duties assigned by the Sales Manager.

Required profile

• First degree in Finance or a related discipline.
• Certified Financial Planner (CEP) designation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial services sector.
• At least 3 years of proven sales success with corporate clients and HNWIs.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment products, and services.
• Professional, articulate, self‑motivated, and driven to succeed in a competitive environment.
• High integrity, excellent organization, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
