Senior Team Leader – IFRS Reconciliations

About the role

Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Team Leader to own the IFRS reconciliation process. You will ensure financial accuracy, compliance with IFRS 17, and guide a high‑performing team to deliver reliable reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise clearing and closure of reconciliation items across multiple years, targeting an 80% resolution rate for aged items.
• Maintain and update the Reconciliation Matrix to track ownership, timelines, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Review and address reconciling items in line with IFRS 17 recommendations and audit findings.
• Prepare documentation and audit trails for financial audits and internal reviews.
• Produce monthly progress reports by the 15th, highlighting status, challenges, and balance movements.
• Provide day‑to‑day supervision and coordination of the reconciliation team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading IFRS reconciliation processes.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 17 and related accounting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop finance teams.
