Showroom Sales Consultant

About the role

A showroom-based sales position in Maraval, reporting to the Sales Manager. You sell products to homeowners, designers and contractors, owning each customer from first walk-in through to paid invoice, including quotes, follow-up and delivery coordination. The team works together rather than competing for commission.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome walk-in customers, understand their project and guide product selection.
• Prepare quotations and sales orders in Odoo, follow up until orders close and invoices are collected.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and deliveries team so customers receive their orders on time.
• Maintain your customer pipeline and build repeat and referral business with designers and contractors.
• Keep showroom displays presentable and current.
• Support teammates' customers when they are unavailable.

Required profile

• 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in showroom or retail of building materials, furnishings or design products.
• Comfortable learning product technical details such as formats, finishes and installation systems.
• Organised and reliable on follow-up, comfortable with computers (Odoo training provided).
• Presentable, customer-first and a genuine team player.
• An eye for design and interiors is a strong plus.

Working conditions

• Showroom-based, on your feet with customers much of the day, occasional handling of samples.
• Saturdays on the showroom roster.

What we offer

• Base salary of $7,000 per month.
• Quarterly team sales bonus, shared and uncapped.
• NIS, paid vacation and sick leave under Trinidad & Tobago law.
• Target is a full personal sales pipeline and consistent monthly sales within 6 months, with specific targets agreed during probation.
