Account Management Manager – Caribbean Emerging Markets

About the role

The Manager, Account Management is a pivotal position within Mastercard Direct Services, overseeing a portfolio of key customers in Caribbean emerging markets. You will shape long‑term payment strategies, grow Mastercard’s share, and act as the single point of contact for customer initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and reassess mid‑ and long‑term payment strategies for each customer.
• Expand the portfolio by growing existing products, winning competition, and identifying new opportunities.
• Manage customer P&L, track revenue, volume, fees and qualitative KPIs such as Voice of the Customer.
• Maintain dashboards, sales pipelines, and market intelligence for internal decision‑making.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor economics, and provide timely feedback to internal teams.
• Collaborate with Services, Marketing, Products, and Customer Delivery to drive new business and manage projects.
• Analyse market dynamics, key players, and activities to uncover growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Commercially savvy, sales‑driven and comfortable negotiating with customers.
• Ability to work independently, meet financial targets and handle sales pressure.
• Experience building relationships at executive levels within local banks and engaging C‑level partners.
• Strong financial acumen and capability to craft complex sales pitches.
• Proven ability to secure support from senior management in a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated sales or customer‑facing experience in financial services or consumer sectors.
