Business Development Manager (Energy) - Remote, Caribbean

About the role

A global Energy-as-a-Service provider, which deploys temporary and permanent multi-megawatt power systems for oil & gas, mining, manufacturing and utilities, is looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth in the Caribbean. The role is remote and focuses on finding new opportunities, building executive-level relationships and managing the full sales cycle for tailored power solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and capture new business in utilities, oil & gas, mining and industrial manufacturing
• Develop and implement regional commercial strategies aligned with growth targets
• Build relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers
• Lead opportunities from prospecting through to contract execution
• Work with technical, operations and finance teams on client-specific proposals
• Monitor thermal and renewable energy market trends
• Present in English and Spanish and keep CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) up to date

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related field
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• 10+ years of experience in energy sales or energy-related projects and solutions
• Strong client network and established relationships with key market players
• Familiarity with thermal and renewable energy markets

Required skills

• Consultative selling and effective management of the sales cycle
• Proven ability to develop, secure approval for and execute sales strategies and budgets
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel and PowerPoint
