Product Specialist - Surgical

About the role

Bryden Pi Limited is recruiting a Product Specialist for its Hospital, Equipment and Supplies Division. The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of surgical sales in the assigned territories, working alongside medical professionals and promoting surgical products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside medical professionals in theatre during surgeries and present clinical data from the company to health professionals.
• Select the right products or help customers choose them according to their needs, specifications and regulations.
• Visit establishments to evaluate needs, promote sales and expand business; identify prospects through directories, existing client leads, clubs and trade shows.
• Prepare sales presentations and proposals, initiate sales campaigns and follow marketing plans.
• Demonstrate and explain the operation and use of products, and recommend ways to maximise customer use.
• Consult medical personnel on technical problems and arrange installation and commissioning of products.
• Track and collect payments for surgeries from private institutions.
• Stay up to date with clinical data, attend sales and trade meetings, and complete product and development training.

Required profile

• BSc degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar position, or a relevant combination of training and experience in a surgical environment.
• Valid Police Certificate of Good Character.
• A vehicle in proper working condition.
• Excellent sales skills, commercial awareness, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in a surgical environment.
