Personal Banking Officer – San Fernando

About the role

Scotiabank is looking for a Personal Banking Officer to join its Personal & Small Business Banking team in San Fernando. The role focuses on delivering practical financial advice and superior service to personal banking clients while driving portfolio growth.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a customer‑focused culture and deepen client relationships.
• Meet or exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales targets across all product categories.
• Identify client needs through face‑to‑face and virtual channels and offer appropriate solutions.
• Transfer client assets from other institutions to increase portfolio share.
• Track sales opportunities and activities in the CRM (Sales Platform) system.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of personal product features, pricing, and relevant legislation.
• Educate customers on self‑service channel options.
• Participate in coaching sessions, sales meetings and training programs.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage a sales pipeline.
• Good understanding of local competitor offers and market rates.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and coaching.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM (Sales Platform) tools.
