PRM / Grooming Attendant

About the role

Swissport is seeking motivated individuals to join its airport ground handling team as PRM/Grooming Attendants. In this dual‑role you will ensure aircraft cabins are clean and well‑maintained while providing dedicated assistance to passengers with reduced mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform grooming duties such as folding blankets, vacuuming aircraft floors, cleaning lavatory mirrors, replenishing supplies, and removing trash from seat pockets and overhead bins.
• Clean interior surfaces including windows, passenger food trays, cockpit areas, and audio equipment.
• Assist inbound and outbound passengers with special needs, transport wheelchair users safely between the terminal and aircraft, and help with baggage handling.
• Operate airport surreys to move passengers and personal effects throughout the terminal.
• Maintain compliance with safety, security, and quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISAGO) and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum CXC O’Level passes including Mathematics and English.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather and on flexible shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Ability to follow safety regulations and provide courteous, professional service.

Required skills

• Basic operation of cleaning equipment (vacuum, wipes).
• Safe handling of wheelchairs and passenger transport equipment.
